The aim of this Network is to bring together all professionals from the academic community, industries and research institutes and to promote interactions and collaborations in research and material science. Within the framework of its operation, it aims to mobilize and operate a platform for communication and exchange of experience for all professionals working in the general field of metal oxides in close cooperation and support of other relevant societies in Europe and abroad.

Specific Aims

The TCM-Net association’s specific aims are:

    • Enhance the interaction between scientists and engineers.
    • Promote a multidisciplinary approach to the investigation of metal oxide oxides.
    • Conduct interdisciplinary meetings of interest between scientists and engineers.
    • Disseminate information relating to the subject matter of the material community.
    • Liaise with other scientific communities to promote relevant science and technology policies in Europe and globally.
 

For the implementation of the above items, the Network Association may:

    • Take all necessary and appropriate measures to cooperate with industry, government departments or institutes, educational institutions and other professional bodies, or any other organization that it considers to either directly or indirectly achieve its objectives.
    • Institutionalize, supervise, advise and promote standards and methods of training and education at all levels in the field of material oxides of metals.
    • Encourage innovative work and research into the science of metal oxide materials, including relevant training and education methods in line with the interests and needs of the industry and the association.
    • Promote the diffusion of knowledge of all forms of science and technology of materials by conducting an international symposium, as well as open public meetings, reports and discussions, delivering public seminars together with, where necessary, publishing scientific papers, journals, communications, books and other academic literature.
